Well its true folks im out after 10 days in and a med change Im like a new person! I feel great and im glad to be back. The big change was from stelazine to seroquel to fanapt. So I am not on Lithium 1800mg, Lamictal 200mg, Fanapt 16mg, 75mcg synthroid and 2mg cogentin. So overall My lithium needed to be increased I came in with a low level so that had part to do with my feelings my doctor said and the fanapt is in place as a mood stablizer. i have to say Fanapt is great I dont have the restlessness I had on the others. So If anyone is up to try fanapt its working great for me and is suppose to get better over the month.

Well Thats my story just wanted ot let you know Im back and better than ever. I hope your all doing well.

Hi Clinte, I've never heard of fanapt so I may give it a try. I have restless legs from seroquel so that's interesting. Glad you are doing so much better.

Yeah look into it cause it's doing me good so far. It's like abilify so it is expensive but if you do a three month order through a mail on pharmacy it's cheaper.

It's expensive a month of it is 319. So I think mail in pharmacy is the only way to go.

Like you, I am also on Fanapt and just got out of a 4 day hospital stay on thursday. I have been on fanapt for a few months but I started seeing hallucinations and am diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder now, and they increased my Fanapt to 16mg, (8 twice a day). My insurance won't cover fanapt since it is so new, so my pdoc gives me samples. Now I am doing better and the hallucinations are less, but still there a little. I wonder if they will increase the dose again, not sure. Well, I'm glad you are feeling better with your new med change. PM me if you want to talk more.

Sorry your going through a rough time krisakira. I hope things get better for you. I know my doc has me on 8mg twice a day as well and it seems to be helping, my doc said that it should get better as time goes.
