"ChunkyMonkey" is having trouble with his profile edit column; he is a new
member and can't get his email registered.

Please step in and give him more instructions; I tried to help, but he says that component isn't working for him.

Anyone else who might be able to help: please do what you can to get
him registered. He is having a real problem with it, I think.

Thanks.

Thanks for this!

This is a woman who says she's seeking information to help a friend with her who is
suicidal.

She's obviously online because she can communicate with me through notifications
but doesn't seem to be able to post on the forum. I've given her all the help I know
to give and hope she gets the problem corrected.

She doesn't appear, however, on the membership list as "ChunkyMonkey".

Any advice you might give would be helpful. I think she is able to read the posts
on the Bipolar Fourm.

The first five posts have to be approved by a moderator. PM one of the mods.

Okay, ChunkyMonkey, I've looked at your profile on the Psych Central Program and
your problem is that you haven't completed your profile information on the left-hand column. It's long and some of it you don't have to answer, but you do have to click
"Submit" at the bottom in order to complete your registration.

I'm going to leave this request for help online for a while just in case the moderators
want to check it for you, but I know that this is the problem.

Good wishes on getting online as you would like. You should be able to do that
once you're registered by just clicking the "Bipolar Forum" and creating "New Thread"
or by responding to this message or any other on the forum.

Take care of your friend and remember to call 911 if you feel it's at all necessary.

Got your message, ChunkyMonkey, about being blocked from entering your "edit profile". Have sent a message to the moderator. Hopefully, that will be corrected for you.

Please continue to post on the forum as you wish. Someone has suggested that you
must post 5 messages to be examined by the moderator before you will be permitted to finish your registration. I don't remember that, but nevertheless, if that's the case, that may be why you can't complete your registration.

Contacting the moderator is the last step for me to be able to help. I hope you
get a response soon, but it's now 10:36 P.M. on Saturday night here, so you may
not hear until tomorrow.

Remember to call 911 if the situation warrants it.

Take care.
