How was your day??

Mine was pretty... unproductive lol. My bf and I woke up at 2pm (I'm embarrassed to admit this but yes we did) We always go to bed really late though. After we woke up, we went to ihop for brunch. & that was really it lol. Came home and cleaned up a little, went to the store, and he just left for work a few mins ago. I'll probably just do some laundry and read a book or something.

Man I miss the days when I was younger and my family on my mom's side would get together and have a big family lunch and do Easter egg hunts & all that fun stuff when me and all my cousins were little. I guess I'll just have to wait until I have kids of my own for fun Easter Sundays... I can't wait, I'm really excited and looking forward to that time in my life

Mine was pretty laid back also. It was only mildly stressful when my parents and my husbands family all got together for dinner. But everyone behaved and it went very well.

Yesterday was by FAR the more stressful day: Easter egg hunts! Vigil mass that lasted 3 hours! Lunch with the in laws! Oh my!

We had Easter early Friday night/sat morning. My CIL was drunk, we were board, and my son was irritable so I hid the baskets. We thought it'd be funny to watch CIL look for her basket drunk and she did not disapoint. Yes CIL has to find her's I don't care she's 25. My son found his basket way to fast and is almost done with the candy. CIL I hid her's like she was three, it was under a flipped over laundry basket in the middle of the floor! She tripped on it and went to fix it before she realized.

My son was suppose to spend the night at a friends last night but he came home when his friend fell asleep. He hasn't been sleeping lately. Today was normal Sunday. I'm on the computer and everyone else is playing a pen and paper RPG.

I had a good Easter, considering the fact that I'm thisclose to losing my job because we can't pass our state survey and I have NO idea what I'll do if it happens. Hubby and I went to Mass this morning (well, we go every Sunday, but of course Easter is the holiest day of the year for Catholics). It was even more beautiful than usual because the sun was shining through the stained glass and making rainbows everywhere inside the church.

Then we had one set of grandkids over for an egg hunt and barbecue (the others are coming tomorrow since Dad had to work today). Things got really interesting when the dog got hold of some Easter candy and ralphed in my pregnant daughter-in-law's lap, which in turn caused HER to run into the bathroom and puke. Can we say 'awkward'? Fortunately she has a good sense of humor, and we had a good laugh over it later.

My Easter was nice. We had nice baskets for the boys for once. Then we went to my dad's for dinner. The baby had his first egg hunt! He's been walking around putting things into this pretty heart basket I have, so he sort of understood the concept. Well, once he got going he didn't want to stop. Haha.

Then we had a hula hoop contest. LOL but my step-mother got the hula hoops at the dollar store so they were too small and made of cardboard, and they didn't work very well. The only one who could do it was my step-niece who is skinny as a rail. But it was fun.

But, my dad fell down and hit his head pretty badly. So I'm worried about him.
