Back when I was hospitalized, I was extremely creative! This is one of my favorite blog entries. Why can't I do this now? *Sigh*

Interesting blog! I know of other people who complain that getting treated for their mania cuts down on their creativity.
Thanks for this!

I can't get the words out onto the computer screen fast enough when I'm manic. That is when my Muse drops a deuce on my head and the creative juices don't flow, they run off me in rivers. At one point in early March (had a couple weeks' worth of mania just for fun) I published six articles in a single weekend! I don't think I'll ever equal that again, but the money was great and I wrote some very well-received pieces.

I understand completely. Sometimes I can just create like it's magic. Other times I am banging my head on the desk just trying to get words out.

My brain feels blank like I'm on narcotics. Can't rub two neurons together.
