I've had a few instances of Deja vu, but probably not more than the average person, I think. I have had some dreams come true. Some very sad, some just mundane everyday life stuff. My husband & I often find ourselves thinking the same thing at the same time. None of that is Deja vu, but any of yours particularly scary in the premonition type ones?

I have had preminitions and funny feelings my whole life, so I don't know what causes it. I view myself as a sensitive person, and that is okay. I would recomend the following book for you, "Can You Be Too Sensitive". I can't remember who wrote it, but I do remember it is a woman who has psychic powers.

I sometimes have what I call prophetic dreams. THey are symbolic and often make too much sense later.
And as believer in reincarnation, i too often feel i have been before... in very simmilar situations at least.

I've had dreams come true, too. Not very often, but sometimes.
I also get a lot of deja vu. I don't know if it means anything. I also have some dissassoication it seems, so I don't know if that's part of it. Or maybe, my life is just so routine it just feels like deja vu....

I've had deja vu when I was young. Like going to a place and it looks exactly like an image I've had in my head before. Or a situation involved being around someone like I've experienced that moment before.
(Or George Carlin's experience: "Vuja De (not Deja Vu): The feeling that none of this has ever happened before!")

Yep...it happens to me regularly. I have had, in addition, premonition-type dreams. I was trying to evaluate and was wondering if it was normal or if it was my wires being crossed.

This may not be what you're experiencing, but for some years some time ago, I would sometimes be, for example, just walking down a street in my neighborhood that I had walked down gazillions of times, and suddenly get this eery feeling that it was all new, that I had never been there before, everything looked different. It was a very uncomfortable feeling, like feeling outside of myself and suddenly feeling kind of lost.
My therapist of that time gave it a term (I think actually the opposite of deja vu) and said it was a form of dissociation. Whatever you want to call it though, I never really understood it, it was just very uncomfortable/eery. |

I have it too, my personal belief is that energy center solar plexus under ribs area, reaches out to future places your going to go, people your going to meet. It's the ego/protective center so it checking out things and bring back info. Most of us aren't raised to understand it so it can get confusing and disorienting. Basically I think it's the body telling you, yea I already told you we'd be here or meet this person etc.
Of course - disclaimer - we have bp and supposed to watch out for psychosis. Some things are early signs of psychosis. But most of déjà vu I consider so normal for a sensitive person. I also have the dreams. Often it's a situation I find myself in at some later date, and know to make a different decision choose my path for a better outcome than what was often a tragic ending in the original dream. This is just my experience, personal beliefs. ![]() |
