One step at a time?

Pick the things that you want to do first? Like easier things with less chance at rejection? Like... I don't know where you've been if not in the real world? (Ok that question sounds wrong so I hope you know what I'm asking?!). Have you been out in public much lately?

Set yourself little goals for each day. Don't expect yourself to be able to do everything all day, and I don't know what the job market is like where you are, but most places it's pretty bad no matter what the job or your qualifications are... so don't give up even if it takes ages before gettin anything, ok? Just remind yourself that there are thousands of other people who aren't finding work either.

Job-hunts can be super stressful. Make sure that you plan in something relaxing to do each day. Maybe set aside a certain time for each day to be looking online for jobs and filling out applications? Or set yourself a number of applications that you have to find and fill out each day? And then set up a reward for after you've completed it?

Im worried about starting over because my life for the past 2 yeras has been so up and down. Its hard just keeping a workout routine consistently when before it was a peace of cake. ahhh i just wanna feel confident u know?

Yeah, I get that. You just have to start working that confidence back up - just do things slowly. Start by going baack out in public for whatever reasons and gradually increase the time out or what you're doing. After you're more comfortable back in the public, then start applying for jobs. Do you have a mall that's accessible to you? I'd start there - it'd be part-time work. And you would just take a bunch of resumes with you and then wander around. (I stressed out loooads looking for things online cause it's SO TEDIOUS!)

Oh! Or a temp agency. Those are good to join up when you're ready - because 1) they're looking for the jobs for you! and 2) They may be short-term, like for a month or so. You could ask to do ones like that at first so that you have an end date and can reduce the amount of stress you'll have with the job by going "I just have to make it another month! One more month! Two more weeks! Almost there!" and that could be motivation to not quit it even if you get overwhelmed a little bit - cause there's already an end in sight.

I used them when I took a year off between high school and uni - it was the only way to get work at any of the local factories really.

Hopefully there's a good one near you I don't know where you live, but I know that Adecco is in both Canada and the UK.
