Wow! not feeling well

I am not feeling too well at all today! I was already up and down before but I had a cervical epidural steroid shot yesterday and now I feel like total crap!! both physically and mentally!!! I don't know if it has to do with the injection or what but I am very down, numb and out of it and really not wanting to do anything today including talking on here or texting my friends!! I even feel like if I end it all things would be so much better!! I have an apt with my reg doctor today to maybe get something for depression but then I have to actually take it which is a real chore!!!

After I was sick last year for two weeks and in the hospital and 3 surgeries I went home. I was then very depressed for about two months after. I thik with physical illness depression is a natural response. The depression lifted on it's own. It was different than my normal depression because I just didn't feel like I was whole any more, and I was in pain and sick a lot. I've gotten used to getting sick more, (it sucks but feels more normal now,) but still looking at my scars makes me really sad.

This depression is just adding to the already untreated bipolar!! I have been in constant physical pain since 2007 and every time I start getting a break something else goes wrong!!! I know that there is a cure for the mental and physical pain but I have a son to take care of!!!! I am just so tired of feeling this way!!!! I am sitting in waiting room now at my regular Dr 's office now since a couple of you in chat suggested meds and a friend I started texting with Will not leave me alone about the meds!!! All I have to do is take them if they are prescribed!!!

I know how that feels. I had a huge high the other day thinking that everything was going swimmingly and then all of a sudden my whole outlook changed in what it seemed like a moment. Wouldn't say I'm depressed, but man am I getting used to changing moods. I feel like if I had a mood ring the damn thing would be broken as many times as I've gone up and down. There's a good song you should listen to, it's called "Don't try suicide," by Queen. Very good and inspirational. Also sometimes it's best not to do anything and let the body rest. I've have been doing that more than anything the last few months and trying to get back on track... I've also been working somewhat which keeps my mind active and doesn't let me wallow in my self pity. I hope you get better.

it be might just the injection, I just got mine today, u may be sad because u had to do it, I hate getting mine, first because it hurts horribly and because I have another problem on my list of problems to deal with. Plus the headaches sometimes break through between visits and they suck. Very frustrating

Sprik-----i need to go back today at 11:30 because the injection made my arm worse! Between the headache and very strong burning and tingling in my shoulder and arm all the way to my fingers..plus wen I type or text my hand and wrist goes numb....do you have this??? I am scheduled for another one on July 5th but at this point I doubt if I m getting it!!!
