is anyone in the same boat? i mean how do you make money?

my brain is foggy, i feel nervous all the time (mixed state, mania, depression) i graduated with honors from a top tier college, now can't even do 4th, 5th grade elementary work. can't memorize things, can't write. my arms/back hurt from using the computer/typing

constant chronic moderate ~ severe pain

No clue mate. I'm fibro with bi polar (not too severe), arthritis and acouple other problems and I am falling apart all over the show. I don't know how I am meant to study or work like this

I had to go on disability. It took 2years...
I had HORRIBLE chronic pain for 3 1/2 years plus undiagnosed bipolar.
Hang in there. Any state disability you can use?

You might very well qualify for disability having two illnesses. But remember, even on disability, you are allowed to work part time. You are limited to what you can make per month...I think it is $800. But if and when you feel a little better, hopefully you can either find PT work or do something creative from home like selling etc to earn extra money. Just a thought...

Disability. If you're in the US, apply for SSI(if you've never worked or only worked p/t) or SSDI, if you worked full time. I was latter. Applied March, 2011, got it May, 2011. That is unbelievably fast but my medical record was so well documented, showing my bipolar was untreatable, that the review panel must've said, "Poor effen b****rd."
