Yep. Haven't slept for a couple"ish" days??? ( uncertain)

But anyway .. I have been cleaning and cleaning and cleaning oh yes Cleaning some more !

I do feel that my already scrubbed on my knees floor needs it done again !

For me there is an upside to insomnia !

As long as I'm not depressed, insomnia can feel great.

That is always an upside I think! At least you're getting things done. When I get insomnia I just get pissed off that I can't sleep and have to go to work the next day.

I wish I got the cleaning bug with insomnia. I tend to get that with anger instead. Insomnia just brings on restless inactivity for me for some reason.

I hope you sleep soon. Days awake is often a bad sign. O.O

There is an upside when you can get things done. My insomnia just leads to me messing around online and then I get mad when I have to work in the morning. I do hope you get some rest soon though

Oh Chrissss.... You need some rest sis I'm not being a hypocrite I promise, but you do need to atleast relax some. Have you tried reading?

Reading usually keeps me awake all night, but there's a specific Hemmingway I keep that helps me sleep. It has wayyyy too many adjectives, seriously adjective OD. So my mind loses track of what I'm reading and wonders until I nod off

Seriously, who spends 3 whole lines on adjectives! When do we get to the story, you know, the reason there are words printed on this paperrrr! lol Probably appeals to people with zero imagination I imagine just fine, don't need extra "help". Thank you

Uhmmm ok I kind of wandered off there a bit

Have a movie/series marathon instead. Your house is spotless x2.

I'm on a mini-insomnia binge and a mini-cleaning spree, too, Christina. I am getting a few hours of sleep, though, between long wake up stretches. Try to get some rest!

As for cleaning, I was so excited today when I got my appliances to shine! I had been using a cleaner for stainless steel appliances, but I discovered today that I can use a magic eraser and a paper towel to get better results! Also, all of my children are at camp, and they are in for a big surprise when they get back-good old mom cleaned closets and got rid of clothes that are two sizes too small.

I only ended up with 2 bags for Goodwill, but I didn't tackle my drawers. I need to clean the carpets first before the kids get home.

Simple Pleasures!

As for adjectives, these are much simpler to teach than adverbs! My favorite, though, are conjuctions, thanks to "Schoolhouse Rock".

Trippin ! Oh Hemmingway Yes I so know what you mean. I have a few of the most boring books in the damn world, nothing is slowing me down. I did lay down for a couple hours last nite. But 3 am hit and it was time to get moving.

Blue ! Oh thanks for the cleaning tip !!! I will have to try that. I bet your enjoying a little bit of time with out tripping over the kids .

I know right now that this insomnia that has lead to me this fantastic cleaning frenzy and throw stuff away ( I despise clutter of anydamnkind) will certainly make me yet again curse my Fibro from hell. Oh well.

Good chance I will tumble into a bit of a ugly irritated pissed off Mania. Meh! I will just ride the waves.

I was worried about the fibro kicking your a.s.s.... Thats why I'm adamant you need to slow down some...

I wish there was a specific surfboard for these waves Would make surfing them much simpler. Instead we are left fumbling in the dark...

You know what I hated about pdocs??
They presume to know what I live through because they read a book, and then proceed to tell me how to live my life and assure me that pills "should" fix me.

Mine weren't even douches, its just that they obviously had no idea beyond a textbook and it got to me I guess... I'd prefer a pdoc or T with a bp dx.

I have no idea why I wandered off again... sorry
Thanks for this!

I love the insomnia productivity... but I tend to do as much as I can to resist it, and park my sorry little butt in one place to read or watch something. I figure, as long as I TRY to do that then I'm at least resting, and not making things worse. Then when I do slip and seem to find myself up and busy and doing all sorts of things, I can forgive myself!

Well .. as typical and expected Fibro has reached out and beat the hell out of me ! Least its freaking consistant I'm at a 9.5 , I feel like a damn earthquake.

I am all kinds of annoyed because I want to re clean everything again right.now. But no can do.
So today has been all about distractions that do not have moving cleaning or physical exertion involved.

Could be worse ~

When I go into my psychiatrist office and he starts inquiring about sleep, my standard line is "sleep is so over-rated". He simply looks at me and says, "hmmm, really, I've heard this story before, a few days before the psychotic delusions set in". He's such a kill-joy..
