Don't have it in me to tell the whole story but the outcome is what I want to tell. I had a friend who is bipolar, the relationship went bad so we hadn't talked since Xmas. She approached me via Facebook asking if I wanted to come over. Her daughter man my daughter are best friends. I got a message on the morning of the day we were meant to be going over with her telling me she didn't feel great but my daughter could still come over. Her house is a total mess and she would be upstairs in bed while the kids unsupervised, so I politely said I'd rather go over when she was feeling better. Then she turned psych, abusive texts threats the whole works. My daughters prize giving was on Thursday and as I was walking back to my car I heard someone shouting. It was her, being abusive and she stepped over the line when she called my 8 year old daughter a fat cow!! I was close to loosing it, I walked back towards her shouting some abuse back. Then when my daughter came home she said that nutcase had been giving her dirty looks and pointing at her throughout the whole service. Now I have no control regarding this situation out of school but I was so upset I told the head teacher. Next think I know is the police are knocking at my door a couple of days later, she and her mum lied and said I started it so I have now been charged with breech of the peace. I don't stand a chance defending my self as they are both seen as independent witnesses despite the other one being her mum for goodness sake!! So that's me, charged by the police for something I didn't do because that low life piece of scum lied to the police!!

I agree with RainyDay. Just tell the whole truth when it comes your turn. Karma has a way of coming around.

Yes, you need legal aid in this. This is ridiculous it could cost you 500 pounds.

I am with the others. Get representation however you can. Lying in court and to the police tend to be viewed as serious crimes. Try any way you can to find proof they are lying if you can.

Good luck.

My fine is £40, if I pay it it doesn't mean I'm admitting to guilt and I won't get a record. There are evil people in this world!!!

I would make sure this woman is out of your life once it is done. You don't need this type of relationship.

CCTV just been installed. Don't know what else she is capable of doing. Is it a bit drastic? I'm not sure. Cost me a lot of money. I guess I'm buying peace of mind

It's better you do that and spend your money than to later end up with something terrible happen. It was the right thing.
