I haven't been on this site in a while but had been following Speed since earlier in the year. Does anyone know how she is doing?

I was wondering the same thing! I haven't been on in awhile either, and suddenly, she's not here. I hope she's ok, and doing better than she was last time I saw her.

The last thing I heard from her was that she was seeing a psychiatrist who had certification in acupuncture and that he had "promised to walk with her holding her hand all the way
through this"--meaning the loss of her son. She sent a personal note later that she wasn't doing very well. But I really think Speed 3 intended to stay with the psychiatrist. I hope she does. So do I. I know a little about the despair she was feeling over the death of her son, not to mention the unhelpfulness of her asshat husband, and I've been worried for some time.
