It was more than 3 years ago, but reaction was like Sweepy's. Within the space of 2 days, I went from feeling like whale poo on the bottom of the ocean to bouncing off the walls. Only AD I've personally handled well is Wellbutrin (in conjunction with Lamictal), but I see you are already on that.

How long have you been taking it? Could it be an adjustment thing?? I seem to recall in your posts that your meds were getting switched up a lot, and that can make it hard to get a handle on what's working (or going to work after getting past initial side effects).

My experience with Lexapro was that I was so sedated I could barely hold my eyes open. I've known others who had a similar experience and I've known others who had the complete opposite response. My pdoc said that neither reaction is uncommon and unfortunately there is no real way to predict ahead of time how a patient will react to Lexapro.

Could it be that the Lexapro is making you feel fatigued and therefore unproductive or unmotivated?
