hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I was diagnosed BP 1 about three years ago and have had seven hospitalizations since then. I'm stable now for the first time in years.

I've been lurking around the site for years and finally decided to sign up. i'm nervous. I'm shy in real life and online, but i could use the community

a little about me: i'm a 31 year old mom of three and freelance writer in austin Texas. i have an incredibly supportive husband and am aware of how rare that is.

I have a lot of issues to ask about but wanted to start with an introduction and some comments on other threads. I look forward to getting to know you

Welcome to PC Laura! It's ok to be nervous and shy on here, we don't mind. Congrats on being brave enough to sign up!

I've found the site to be really comforting in a lot of ways - sometimes I just read over things n other parts of the forum, sometimes I take part. I usually find something that I want to say.
