Insomnia I adore you. You never let me down .. your dependable like that.
I love being awake for days and days and days.. Gives me hour after hour to do aimless things .

I just wanted to B!tch and moan about it a bit.

I'm done

Haha I love your sarcastic posts. I've been dealing with insomnia too and it really sucks. Especially because there's nothing to do at one in the morning!

Insomnia and all the other abnormal sleep patterns can seriously kiss my butt.

Am I going to have trouble falling asleep?
Am I going to wake up constantly?
Am I going to wake up hours early?
Am I going to have lots of vivid dreams?
Am I going to be exhausted all day?
Am I going to be really active all day?
Am I going to start sleeping in?
Am I all of a sudden going to conk out and have naps even though I'm sleeping 8+ hours a night?
What combination of the above am I going to have? Am I going to have trouble falling asleep combined with nightmares? Or am I going to have vivid dreams, frequent wakings, and then wake up for good hours early? Or some other combination????

Maybe you could envisage lambs jumping over a fence one by one... one... two... three... four... five.... (you catch my drift)

If that doesn't work try imagining giraffe jumping over a fence one by one.... one... two... three... four... five... you catch my drift.

If that doesn't work, try imagining hunky men jumping over a fence one by one... one... two... three... four... five... You catch my drift?

If that doesn't work, try imagining hunky men with no clothes on jumping over a fence to you, one by one, one... two... three... four... five... You catch my drift!

I once actually counted myself to sleep. To be fair, I was trying to adjust to a 6 hour time difference. But I laid there and counted. Forget how far I got, but eventually I started making mistakes in my counting - was counting backwards, by 2s, skipped a bunch, all sorts of silly mistakes that didn't even make sense. haha. Eventually I conkted out.

LOL Peg! Love it.

I've tried "counting sheep", but they always start changing directions they're jumping and then some don't wait their turn and they bump into each other.

Now, giraffes, that's a funny one! Can they even jump a fence? Maybe picture them ducking under trees lol..

How about George Clooney jumping back & forth over your bed? But that might perk you up rather than help you sleep... lol.

and so the dismembered human wants to experience more and 'freaky' overlap it with our underling self the tiny one desperate for a break!...a freaking break!...some time off..!!

and yet no!...we gotta lay there and listen to what extra-ordinary human wants to say and do for hours on end and despite the darkness thiss element of unlight only aggravates this animal inside my head....

and I hate the control this personal animal has over me it seems indestructible and ...ironically "tireless"...

INSOMNIA....never sleeps

I'm so sorry Christina honey...

I got it too...
