I notice when I take cold allergy medication it has the opposite effect on me, it does not cause drowsiness but it causes me to become somewhat hypo, causes me jumpyness especially stuff like, benadryl, sudafed, sinutab, dayquil, robitusin, ect... I was just wondering, can this be a bipolar 1 or 2 side effect thing or is it just me?

no, but I have a son who's got ADHD among other things that has a similar prob w some cold or sinus meds. I was told this happens and isn't completely unusual, by a rheumatologist. Don't know bout the bp tho. I'd look into it further. Wishing you well!

Sweepy, I'm the same way w/ certain ones. Some knock me out, and some make it like I'm supercharged.
