Yup I am!! I am a little nervous because I have been having a lot of pain. Ate way too much gluten on my vacation because avoiding it was like trying to avoid the plauge. Which in turn over course have a negative effect on my mood nothing note worthy, just pain sucks. Gluten does that to me I know and so does chronic pain. But I made myself sign up for a 10k marathon because I want to and I am tired of saying no, or that would be awsome but it's for others.

So send me some positve vibes cause I might need it. My knees are not feeling so great and that stupid low mood can get kicked to the curb. That is the plan. For some reason I like doing my running solo. Little nervous about running with others/ in front of others. I usually only run 5k but it's only another 5 right.

I have to be there at 8, start at 9. Try to get more than three hours sleep, cause I am not an early morning activity kinda lady. Can you run with a coffee in hand? and not spill it all over? It's for a good cause too, funds for cancer research. I raised some, not a ton..don't really know a lot of people and sort of last minute.

You're amazing, Anika! I wish I were fit enough to run a marathon, haha. And that's excellent that it is for a good cause.

Thanks for the awesome show of support guys thank you very much, means a lot to me because this is a new challenge for me. I'm trying to get to my goal.

It's 3:40 am and I cannot sleep. I am supposed to get up at 6 :/ which is fine I can wake up at 6, but kinda wanted to be a little rested. Can't do much about that now, will just have to fiqure out a way to disguise motorized wheels as feet I guess. Really what is the other option, I can make that happen in 2 hours.

It went really good Venus. I stopped at 5 k tho, but that's ok, the original plan was 5k. I beat my time and came in at 27min, suprisingly I was in the first group of finishers. A lot steeper incline than I am used to, so I can work on that. It was really hot here this morning and not enough sleep for 10k. But next time I will be ready

I am really glad I did that, feels great. One step closer to my 21 k goal.
