I can feel a depressive episode coming on. I dont know what to do. I'm busy with school and work yet still finding time to think and dwell in this emotions. I am becoming moodier and depressed every day. Thinking about adding medication. Does anyone know of what meds are best to add to an SSRI? Or do you suggest upping the dose? Talk therapy doesn't seem to be what I need and yes I have been in therapy before but no longer feel I need it. I don't have any events other than stress from school that are triggering this. Any and all suggestions would help. I don't want to slip back into depression.

I would let my doctor decide what would work best for you. Only he is qualified to make those choices. Best wishes.

Yes I am only taking an SSRI. I was on Zoloft and Wellbutrin years ago, at high doses. I did try Ablify but that was a horrible experience. Now I am only on a low dose of Zoloft. After extensive therapy and previously high doses, I have been comfortable on this dosage for the past two years. But I'm finding myself feeling in a hazy funk. And my SAD is starting to kick in already.
