I have been on Saphris for a couple of weeks now. I was on 10mg until I told the Pdoc that is was giving me a wicked hangover effect in the a.m. so he reduced it to 5mg. i have found that it gives me muscle cramps. It also seems to react to being out in the sun. My skin begins to feel like I getting pricked m=by needles. Does anyone have experiences similar to these?

No side effects here, other than it completely wipes me out. I take the entire 20 mg before bedtime, and get 8-9 hours of rest per night. I've been on it for 3 years.

Quite a few psych meds cause sun sensitivity. Use sunblock. And apparently one semi-common side effect is muscle cramps, particularly in the neck. Didn't have that problem though.
