So, my pdoc and I are going to pull the manic train back to the station, just switched out my lamictal for depakote and continued the increase in saphris I started last week. I've been up oh...26 hours now and still not tired yet. I figure an early night with meds should jumpstart things on a good roll. Keep our fingers crossed!

I'm glad your pdoc is on this so that you can catch before it gets any worse.

Talked to my husband about the med making me sleepy and he goes "Isnt there something you could do besides taking medicine". Well, hon, I wish there was. He still doesnt get it, 7 yrs down the road and several episodes later. Maybe if he was actually around to watch them happen instead of hearing about them on the ph. " oh, you' re having a manic episode? What does that mean? Oh you're depressed, so sorry." I deal with all this crap on my own with the help of my drs. I'm amazed I've made it so far as well as I have. Maybe I'm just lucky so far.
