You might want to read Patty Duke's biography or articles on Carrie Fisher. I found an interview with Carrie Fisher in last 90's Psychology Today magazine which was pretty good. She was on 7 heavy duty psychiatric meds. I don't know how she's been so productive all these years.

I hear some people talk about BP and can't relate. I heard one male Soap Opera Star who spoke about it and said "It isn't a death sentence". I totally couldn't relate to that.

Nope......not a death sentence. BP is more like a life sentence.

Patty Duke has 2 books: 1. Call Me Anna: The Autobiography of Patty Duke, and 2. Brilliant Madness: Living with Manic Depressive Illness
The first book talks about her career from a young child and her movie star life. The second book is more about living with bp.
