They are looking for a genetic component, so they've taken blood a few times. They do a lot of mind games where you have to remember lists and then remember then several minutes later too. You look at pictures of things and then look at two pictures and point at which one wwas in the original list. You match cards with different shapes and colors and all you get is "correct" or"incorrect". The rules change as you play but nobody tells you! There are a few questions they ask about how you've been feeling in the last week. Too badd they didn't ask in the last month, as I was manic then.

That sounds like a weird study on BP. Maybe they want to see cognition changes with the state you are in.....
