When do you get mania? Lots of people say its in the Spring, but I get mine in the Fall. Twice now. Anybody else in the Fall? Or how about Summer? Winter? Is there a pattern?

The times I've noticed I've had it have usually been in spring and/or summer

I get it both seasons, starts with a mania, mixes a little then turns into a depression, though so far no depression...its early yet.

Sometimes I think it might be seasonal. But really it's whenever something/stress build so much that I know I'm about to fall one way or the other, and it lasts a few months.

Spring and summer, usually, although this past winter I was hypomanic for a couple of months. I tend to have more mania than depression anyway.

I never really thought about it before, but when I look back, there seems to be a pattern in the summer. Maybe it's because I live in California and summertime equals partytime out here.

My episodes come and go as they wish. I do tend to have a depression at Christmas and my birthday (August).

Although I absolutely hate winter, it won't send me into a depression unless I've got too much other crap going on - which is what sends me into an episode in any season so it's really no different.

Summers, def. But I've also been depressed during the summer. Heck, I don't know.

Spring and summer is usually when I get manic, but extreme stress for a long period of time also triggers mania regardless of the season.
