just took that personality test again - INTP this time. Career Test Center - Discover your ideal career
I was something else last time I took it.
trying to find a new career to go into, since I hate my job, working with my sister, and never wanted to be a business executive. I have to make changes if I'm going to find peace & happiness. I'm not getting any younger.
Astronomy & Geology & Architecture were careers for my personality type. These are some of the things I was most interested in college & I don't know if classes I took 20 years ago will still count, but maybe.

I looked up some rentals down in town, near the college & the beach. My daughter & I want to go to the community college together. Maybe my son will even come around and finish high school.

So there are actually jobs in these areas of science. I can really do this!! I'm really excited!!!!!!

Sounds like you are on the right track. Life is too short to have a job you don't like. I can't say I like mine, but I don't have the energy or the finances to change right now. But I wish you the best.

Classes stop counting after 5-10 years because new information is discovered constantly.

You can go to a uni and find out what the courses and requirements are for the majors you're interested in. Get in contact with the transfer office at the university and they will help you streamline to uni courses. Its also a good way to meet and make friends. Its also a good idea to talk to the disability office to see if they can help you out in any way. (Example; manic ->get extra time for assignment)

Taking advantage of the programs at the school will make it easier for you to adjust. Good luck!

FYI- architecture these days is being replaced by civil engineering if you choose to go that route.

If you have a degree, that still counts! I went back to school 19 yrs after my original graduation, there were a few extra classes I had to take but I did a career switcher into teacher education, everything counted. I just had to take the teacher ed classes and all the tests. Best wishes!

That's awesome!!

I'm trying to get into vocational rehab myself. My T has to sign off that I'm stable enough though.
