I took a living expenses loan out and I've decided to go part time once I receive the money. My boyfriend will help with groceries and my mother said she would help me too (I'm not sure how true that is, but I hope she does help). This will help me avoid going manic and for me to maintain my good grades.

The only thing I'm worried about is my Boss's reaction. We are in critical need of cnas and I'm not sure if she will let me go part time. My excuse will be for school work, but idk if she will be sympathetic. What would I do if she says no?

In three words: Find another job. CNAs are needed everywhere. Believe me, you do NOT want to ruin your chances at a decent future by getting so sick in this job that you never completely recover. You know what happened to me.....don't let it happen to you.

I do home care though, would I work for another home care agency? There's no way I could work at a nursing home, waaaaaaaay too stressful for me. Also, this is the first cna job I've ever had so quitting them for another company would look bad. I was a pca for years, but the people I had taken care of passed away so I can't use them as references
