I've been dissociating during sex lately. It's really freak king me out. What's going on?! D:

I'm not sure. I just feel half there and don't remember everything after. Even sober.

I do that as well actually. I don't remember sex afterwards. Like what I did or what I said. Hmmm I never thought it was odd, I thought that was how sex was. I don't mean to be rude or prying but have you had any bad sexual experiences? That could be the reason for myself and perhaps the same goes for you.

I have had bad sexual experiences. I don't do this with people I care about.

Wow that would suck! I have dissociated during drunken sex which wasnt always exactly consensual but never during sex with someone I was interested in, or with the man I love.

It actually grounds me. I never feel more "in the moment" than I do when I am having sex. I just wouldnt do it if I was dissociating. It would be distressing, whats the point?

This is something to talk to the T about, I bet they would have some ideas.

So it's happening when you sleep with someone you don't have feelings for?

That would make sense to me cuz being that intimate with someone is like giving them your magic. In my opinion the best way for it to be is caring deeply for each other.
