My daddy passed away peacefully yesterday morning with my mother and my oldest daughter right there with him. I so afraid that I am not strong enough to do the things we have to do to lay him to rest. I have to be strong though for my mama and my siblings. Please please pray that God will give us all the strength we need to do this. Not sure how I am feeling. It is a roller coaster to say the least.

I'm sorry you lost your Daddy. I lost mine two years ago, so I understand the pain you are going through. I don't know how but God does give us the strength we need or I would have never made it through it. Just do what you can do. Bless you and your family.

Truly sorry for your loss. When my father passed, our family pulled together, step by step making the decisions what to do. I will pray for you.

My deepest sympathies, I am so sorry for your loss. I know words don't make a difference, they don't change a damn thing, but you are in my thoughts.
I lost my daddy 3yrs ago very suddenly, laughing 1 minute, in a body bag 15 minutes later. The gaping hole in your life can never be filled by anyone else, but you do learn to adjust and live in your new reality, and in time you can miss him with more fondness than pain. Just take it one breath at a time, there is no right or wrong way to feel.
