I would ask him if there is a way to reduce your medication. My doctor said lithium is used in suicide patient. Set timers and get pill containers and fill the morning & night box and get a small one for after noon. Then 'hide' your pills in a pencil box. if you are willing to drink water or apple juice freeze it and put it next to your bed at night.oSo as soon as you get up you can take the meds. That is a lot of meds! I have a lot of prn meds.

That does sound like a ton of pills to take. Just tell him it's too much and you need to simplify. I'm really no qualified expert or anything, but lithium shouldn't be needed if lamictal is working. And same for ambien vs latuda for sleep. I just discussed going to latuda (she said it's like seroquel but better/newer, less weight gain) if ambien doesn't work with my pdoc. Sorry you're overloaded with the pills, just talk to him. Your purple hair looks fabulous though

If it makes you feel better I'm on Parnate, Ativan, Ambian, Ability, and one other drug to help with my depression and lack of sleeping. There unfortunately doesn't seem to be too much you can do around having to remember to take a ton of drugs though if all of them are needed.

Typically bipolar individuals take the following: Antidepressant (Lithium?), anticonvulsant (Lamictal), atypical antipsychotic (Latuda), benzo (Ativan), sleep aid (Ambien). For me it's all about finding the right dose of each med, then the right combo. It sucks, too take so many meds, but for me to be functional it's worth it! Best of luck!!

I'm on Lamictal, Latuda, trazodone, and Klonopin 2x daily. I've tried to reduce meds and it never works out in my favor. I keep a PM pill box. The Mon, Tues...kind. I keep the klon in my purse since I take it during the day. I set my alarm on my phone for each time I'm supposed to take something. You get used to it.
