where do you get treatment? have you ever been committed as an inpatient, and did that help? how did/didn't it help? which hospital were you at and what were your opinions of it?

I'm at NY Presbyterian hosptial in the inpatient program. It's the first time I'm experiencing ANYTHING like this... my prior reality included such things like mental disorders like these would never in a million years touch me--based on family history, and my own psych/health history (32 y.o. female). Overnight symptoms quite literally.

You could check NAMI and find support groups in your area.
