Hi, I'm ranting and was curious about someone's take on my experience. I'm new here. Anyway, I'm around 22, and when I was 19 I was on prozac, nearly failed out of school and stole someone's boyfriend. Anyway, the drs found out I was rapid cycling, and I went off the medicine. Since then I got extremely irratable and almost went into a rage on Zoloft. Now I'm on a tricyclic for my OCD called Anafranil. However I felt the roller coaster moods and rapid cycling I was on Prozac. I went off the rails again had horrible mood swings and *****ed out my ex best friend. I feel really terrible about the situation, and my confrontational moods when I'm extremely shy normally. I was just wondering if I was bipolar or if the Prozac jump started my bipolar for good, and I will have it for life. My drs put me on Lyrica since it stablized my GAD and moods for a few years, until we couldn't go any higher on the dosage. So I'm on both meds now and it's working. I was just wondering if I was bipolar all along or anyone has experienced a mood situation like this.

Thanks,
Southern Belle

I'm confused are you asking if you could be bipolar or that your bipolar and wondering if we have ever had that? It depends which diagnostic model your country uses but we can't diagnose here. I will tell you that all ssri, and snri have flipped me into mania.
