In my experience, I haven't ever had any major psychotic symptoms. Any that I had stayed for a brief period of time and vanished.
Anyway, I kind of want to know if anybody else experiences anything. When I'm depressed, that little voice in the back of my head sometimes takes charge and says mean things to me. It's not much of a hallucination but the closest I've gotten, I think. The only way to explain it is that it grabs me by the reins and insults me if something minor happens. When I'm hypomanic, I tend to hear sounds. Not voices or anything like that. It tends to be buzzing, ringing, static-like even. They only last for a minute or so, then fade. What kinds of hallucinations do y'all go through?

Music---it's not like when you play a song in your head, it's actual music that I hear, coming from somewhere outside me. I also "see" things, like eyes from a photograph following me around a room. I've also "seen" lava creeping down the walls and lights that can't possibly exist in this realm. Creeps me out, because I didn't have psychotic symptoms until this last manic episode. I hope it never happens again.
