Someone just asked me what my schedule has been like the last few months and I found I could not really remember the last few months well. Has anyone discovered their memory sucks when hypomanic? I'm am not taking any medication but feel like I've lost a good chunk of time. Maybe my mind is just going to quickly to spend the time to recall?

At this point my memory sucks. I can't blame meds. I use to have a wonderful memory and feel I gave it up to mania.

I have a hard time focusing, so in a way it effects my memory but it is an all of the time thing.

My memory is at its best during hypomania... well it just figures because I'm downright genius at the time.

I sadly have left over med related memory issues, but that's a whollle different story.

I have a two year period of time that is just gone due to depression, meds and ECT. I don't think I will ever get that time back but since being off meds and stopping ECT I have noticed my memory improving a lot.

My memory is scattered . I forget things all the time. It was quite disturbing at the start, but now I'm getting used to it- sort of. When I went on meds this whole memory loss started, so I'm pretty sure the problem is med related. The alternative is I stop the meds and get my good memory back, along with a boatload of bone crunching depression and wildly unpredictable hypomania.

I quit drugs and alcohol a year ago, so memory loss from psych meds is normal haha

I don't think I've ever experienced hypomania, only really bad manias for me. Anyway, my memory is crap regardless.
