From the mouth of babes... bff's D who is 4 inquired why my hands shook. I started lookig closely and she is right. The tremor is not horrible, not as with Depakote, but it is perceptible. I know people get tremor from Lithium but I started taking Lithium in much larger doses back in 2009 without tremor. So I conclude that it must be from my small dose of Prozac. Could that be the case? And I thought that Prozac was free of side effects...

Also when I went to live at bff's I forgot to pack my Tazorac. Normally missing Tazorac for just one night would result in a breakout. Now, many days without it and clear skin. I conclude that I have wrongly faulted Lithium for giving me acne. Acne must have come from Geodon and now I am off Geodon and acne-free. Has anyone had acne from Geodon?

Could it just be you're older now, my acne didn't get better until I was in my forties. Sadly I've broken out again as result of hormone/steroid treatment

I think most psycho-active drugs have the potential to cause tremor. Neuro-transmitters work in every synapse in our body not just the ones in the brain, so it is possible that they can cause disruption anywhere. If you are worried get your doc to check you over.

Did you have tremors while you were on Geodon? APs are notorious for causing them, and the effect doesn't always go away when the medication does. I've developed them too, but I think it's because I'm on 2 APs.....the Geodon by itself didn't do it, but the combination probably did. They're not too bad, but I notice it especially when I'm tired at the end of the day.

I started Geodon 40mg 3 weeks ago and haven't noted any side effects but being more tired than usual. I was on Prozac 40 mg for at least 5 years and never developed a tremor. Abilify 20 mg caused a slight tremor I noticed occasionally. None since I'm off it.

That was my thought too. For me, Geodon caused a horrible tremor! THANK GOD it went away a few months after I got off it.

This was started so long ago. I wonder how it floated up. I no longer have tremor, and my acne is manageable, though not entirely gone. Lithium may be causing acne, too.
Thanks for this!

Ziprasidone *may* have contributed to my cystic acne. Since using rosehip oil on my skin instead of harsh washes and chemicals I have had zero cysts. I still have pimples but not nearly as many and at times they are definitely hormone related. I thought the zeldox exasperated it but 3 drops of the rose hip oil has kept it under control.

No tremor from ziprasidone for me, luckily. It has been that great a med for me personally.

Never got a tremor from Prozac either, and I was on high doses last time I was on it.

For sure, I get tremors from Prozac.

They are strange too because I can feel them.

But, yes, tremors!
