current meds:

1200mg lithium
300mg seroquel
80mg geodon

During 11 day inpatient for SI:
I was at 600mg lithium for 3 weeks before inpatient(5 weeks total now) and bumped up to 1200mg while inpatient recently I also started geodon 80mg while inpatient.
I also was started on 15mg of remeron.

I've been on seroquel of 2 months and no problems, helps me sleep at night.

outpatient doctor took me off remeron 4 days ago upon discharge from inpatient(he fears mania).

Since I've been discharged I've gotten depressed again, but I feel the geodon is blocking suicidal ideations.

These 4 days since being out of inpatient, I can't stay awake or function until like 3-4pm. I woke up to type this at 7 am but I couldn't focus and was drowsy even after getting the same amount of sleep in inpatient.

I had issues on both Seroquel and Lithium. Geodon was ok once I got used to it.

I'm obviously not a Dr, but it seems like 3 Antipsycotics is a large dose. I take seroquel with lamictal.

Yep, my sentiments exactly, the other name for AP is tranquilizer. I can't even imagine functioning on so many tranquilizers. Hope your pdoc helps you out soonest.

I'm so glad he can see you so fast. He'd know what is better the IP is just to stabilize you in crisis.then when you go to your doctor it's more personalized to how they work with you.

Im not surprised you can function on those meds... did the geodon not work on its own? Too many meds can cause more problems than not enough. The combination of geodon and seroquel may make you very very drowsy. For me, geodon increases the effect of seroquel, I no longer need the doses of seroquel I used to take for sleep or bad symptoms.
