I've always drank. Since I was 20 I've been drunk almost every night of the week. Sober now for almost 2 months woot woot. Anyways I've never really experienced the wake up at 3 am wanting to bake cookies or graphite garbage cans. I guess I have it in my head that I have a normal sleeping pattern since it was always waking up asking "how'd I get here".

Soooooo without this one major trait of one who suffers from bp, doesn't that sound like a misdiagnoses? How can one be bipolar if she slept like a rock then dragged her *** hungover most days?

Congrats on your sobriety!

Some people go through periods of "normalcy" for a long time with bipolar disorder…you may be experiencing that? Talk to your pdoc, I recommend.
Thanks for this!
