Is it possible to feel better after one dose of it? I went from crying and and emotional ball of crazy mess to singing in the shower and just cheerful after one dose.

I personally haven't experienced this with any medication BUT a friend of mine has. I think it may be a placebo effect seeing as it takes weeks and weeks for me to notice any positive difference when starting a new medication, but don't take my word for it. Just speaking from personal experience.
Good luck with Prozac though, it didn't work well for me but hopefully you will have a positive outcome
