If you have, or think, you have bipolar disorder like symptoms, what month where you born in? Many studies have noticed a correlation of schizophrenia with winter births. I want to know if this also extends to bipolar disorders as well. If you are here on behalf of a child, please put their birth month in.

I have another poll just like this for schizo disorders in the schizophrenia forum. It will be interesting to compare the the results.

Thanks!

Just a suggestion, but don't you think it would be better to add the season next to the month? There are members here from different hemispheres, and climates so when I vote its an American Summer but the dead of Winter here, and yet you wouldn't know that from my vote...

I never considered that, since your from Cape Town what do you suggest we do? I'm thinking the simplest solution would be to change the months to seasons, but I don't think we can adapt this poll at this point.

I'm inclined to leave this poll intact for the moment. Lets start a new poll based on seasons.

Relatively speaking, I think the number of individuals from the northern hemisphere will significantly out weigh those from the southern hemisphere. Can an admin delete the two polls and then I'll start over with a seasonal poll?

Would winter, spring, summer, and fall be enough, or should the poll be broken down more, for instance early winter, mid winter, late winter, early spring, mid spring, late spring, early summer, mid summer, late summer, early fall, mid fall, late fall?
I think contacting admin is a splendid idea, I think the best course of action , is just a basic edit, example:
Jan: Winter
Jan: Summer

Etc... because Winter in the North is Summer in the South and Spring in the North is Fall/Autumn in the South.

Right, but January for you is apparently the warmest month, i.e. summer, for you? It would be better to abstract it simply to seasons. i.e.

What season where your born:
Winter, early
Winter, mid
Winter, late
Spring, early
Spring, mid
Spring, late
Summer, early
Summer, mid
Summer, late
Autumn, early
Autumn, mid
Autumn, late

Done. I'll leave it up to the admin to decide if they want to remove this poll to prevent confusion with the new poll. Can they make the new one sticky for a week or so?
