I've been out of work for a year. I was getting better but still unable to work and they changed my diagnosis a few months ago. Of course with that comes the med merry go round.

There is no way I can return to work anytime in the foreseeable future.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if you're able to manage your symptoms and hold a full time job.

My husband has not been able to work for the past 3 years. When we move I'm going to ask him to do intensive out patient or partial hospitalization so that stability can come faster. Do you have the option to do one of those programs?

I've been out of work for 10 months from the military. I get disability from the VA which is nice, now I just need to get my SSDI and I can move out my parents house.

I'm currently in an intensive outpatient program but it's not really helping other than giving me some coping skills to try. After IOP I'm going to start uncovering all the trauma that is underlying my anxiety and panic. I don't know that will do anything for my Bipolar.

Thanks!

I went through a 2 year depression and was unable to hold a job (or do much of anything for that matter).
