I am posting this because it might just help someone.

The Cuckoo Trash Can
In the corner of my living room by my door is my imaginary Cuckoo Trash Can. It is a large cylinder, maybe four feet high, and it is decoupaged beautifully in many bright colors, red, orange, turquoise, black, green, blue, more red, blue, turquoise and orange. It’s beautiful and only I can see it. When I get emails that bother me from certain relatives or others that I need to maintain contact with, I am nicey-nice and that is all. I can never, ever be personal with them or they will throw it back into my face painfully because of their low intellect. I know that they will never "get" me; it is just not possible for them. I just delete these emails when done. I cannot stand to even see them in my email! Then, if I find them still bothering me later, which they often do, I mentally throw them into the Cuckoo Trash Can. I make a basket every time. It helps.
