Now it's "Mood disorder unspecified"

After two years of having been labeled bipolar 1, the new psychiatrist challenged and tore apart my old diagnosis that was given at the very same place. We also realized that there's a strong seasonal affective thing going on (I'm all over the place in winter, depressed with energy for a few hours, elated but won't move, etc). I learned that we can actually get Vitamin D through lightboxes that have no UV light, and it also helped tremendously in waking myself up in the morning.

I guess I have to be Euthymic Camper now.

We settled on mood disorder nos last pdoc but my current pdoc is 100% sure on bipolar 1 w/psychosis,GAD and SAD. What do you think about your new DX? What does it mean for your medications?

My body wasn't able to tolerate most of the medications out there, so I've been looking for other ways of managing it for 2 years. This new psychiatrist wanted me on an antidepressant but I'm joining a gym and feel confident that it's the better choice.

mood disorder nos was my original diagnosis before the whole bipolar thing, but it's very clear I was misdiagnosed and have some other situational things hurting my stability.

I'm glad your pdoc is willing to go down that road for you.

I'm taking a leap of faith and starting my own consulting firm. Maybe this is my manic phase. I've been spending money on office things even if I didn't make $ yet.
