If things are bad, 1x a week otherwise 1x every 2 to 3 weeks. I cant remember the last time I went 2 months or more. I see my T anywhere from 2x a week when things are bad to 1x a week every 3 weeks otherwise. Right now I am at 3 weeks for pdoc and T.

The longest time I've ever gone w/o seeing my pdoc was seven weeks. It's been monthly for the most part, sometimes every 2 weeks if I'm not doing well. This time it will be six weeks between visits, and if things continue to go well I think we'll try 2-3 months. He's letting me call the shots on the timing now, which I think shows that I've made considerable progress in therapy. This is the longest remission I've had in the two years since I was diagnosed, and we're not even tweaking the meds at this point. I love the guy to death, but office visits are outrageously expensive because I'm considered "complex" and I'd like to cut back if I can, even though I do have health insurance now.

When I used to see one before I moved it varied from weekly when I was dealing with the trauma & my T had just had back surgery.....normally it was once a month just to keep check on how I was doing because most of the time there were no meds....but he was also into the natural treatments like the Omega 3 EPA which really works wonderfully for me on depression.

Since moving & being completely off any psych meds......I don't even have a pdoc.....& the place I go to see my psychologist, they only have psych assistants who prescribe the psych medications......glad I'm not going for that......even though my psychologist things that with my anxiety I might be helped with medication.....I don't even want to go back to being guinea pig again.

One time when I was having a hard time, I saw Pdoc twice in one week and then again a few weeks later.

When not in crisis but not "stable", usually every 4-7 weeks.

Stable, once every 2-3 months.

Pdoc for me is med reg. Normal range is monthly to every 3 months. Med changes it can be 2 times per week with daily call in. I drive over 100 miles round trip so refuse to go more often for a 20 minute appointment.

As needed for me at this point. I varied a lot as we were working on medication tweaking. Pdoc will also do a 5min check-in with me when I see my T as well, so I see him more often than might be anticipated sometimes.
