I think it is a good thing to wish... It is a way of giving hope. I have a friend who suggested that I journal something good about myself every day... I like that. I think many of us have low self esteem so I'm starting a wishing thread with a twist... We all do positive things daily but never give ourself credit for doing it. My idea is to go here every day and say Why I earned my daily wish. What did I do or accomplish that earned me my wish. Then make a wish ... Because you deserve it.

I'm starting with what I did yesterday: I went to school on my vacation day and tutored students from my chemistry classes for free and while I was waiting I mopped and waxed my classroom floor. My wish: that I find a way to go back to school to earn my PhD that I have been wanting for over a decade.

I made a patient very happy. She thanked me for all of my hard work and for being so quick in getting back to her with test results. She also thought that I was perfectly lovely to talk to on the phone and was very reassuring. My wish: taking my Medical Assisting to areas of great need.

Today I went to the gym. It's been awhile since I've been there, mostly too depressed, but feeling a little better and I went today.

My wish: To make a new friend with an intense connection.

I took down the play structure I built for my daughter for Xmas because the neighbor didn't like it. Broke my heart but I try to follow rules and not make enemies of my neighbors.
My wish: romance. Passion. Excitement.

I hope this counts... I apologized this afternoon for being bit**y to my boyfriend last night.

Wish: to not be annoyed and bit**y all the time
