Last night was not a good night for sleeping. Nightmares ran rampant through my head. Then this morning I had a dream that my partner was pregnant. Which would be quite a feat for me since we're in a same-sex relationship. Now I am almost completely convinced she is. I am on the verge of wanting to go buy a pregnancy test and make her use it. That wouldn't come across bad at all, would it? Don't answer that, I know the answer, but I'm at a loss for what to do. This is driving me nuts. I want to say something, but in our situation, an accusation like that is also an accusation of cheating, and that seems like a bad can of worms to open just for the sake of a dream. Should I get a test and ask her to take it, for the sake of dispelling a delusion? Will it even satisfy me if it comes back negative?

Just share the weird dream, and maybe somethings will get cleared up.

You dreamed it. Our brains come up with loads of bizarre things while we sleep.
Tell her about the dream if it will make you feel better though. There's no harm in sharing your dreams. You could even tell her that you woke up and were half-convinced it was real! But don't ask her to take a pregnancy test, nor ask her if she's pregnant. You've got no basis to think that outside of your dream! (Hell, if dreams always relayed truths, I would have no memory of myself as I've had my memory wiped multiple times in nightmares! Yes, I jest... but I've had loads of very realistic nightmares. When I wake up, I remember they're nightmares. I may or may not tell the person involved about what a nutty nightmare I'd had.) __________________ "The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things. My GF has had bad dreams where I was unfaithful to her, she felt similar to how you have described. She told me about the dream and did ask if she had anything to worry about, really she just wanted me to reassure her as dreams sometimes can be upsetting. After we talked and a big cuddle she felt better. Long story short, talk it over and let her know how the dream made you feel. Most likely you will get some reassurance and the all important hug ;-)
