Ok basically I have no meds because I thought I didn't need them...now I realize that I do. BUT, I can't remember her direct phone number and the receptionist is a moron who keeps transferring me to the wrong person...

Out of experience, be persistant. Keep calling until you get a result. Its monday so things are always very busy today. Dont give up!

Yes. Patients do it all the time. Just walk in and explain that you need to schedule an appointment and get some meds to hold you over. They will look up your chart, make your appt and check with the doc to make sure it's Ok to give you meds

I'm to walk in and tell them I need to see my doctor. They IM my doctor, it beeps on his computer and I sit until the first cancellation or until he has 5 min to see me. I ask him exactly what I need. It takes less then 5 min. unless it's to judge if I'm able to go home.

Oh ok...so you're just saying to go to the place to schedule it and they'll end up fitting me in...or literally going to the office to schedule an appointment?

Go to the office and tell them what you told us. Tell them you need an appointment (doubtful they will get you in that day) and that you would like to start back on your meds. This might take a while, like you said, they are busy offices. Assuming this is your Docs office, they should be able to help you. Especially if you go first thing in the morning, before they get swamped.
