Hello everyone. This is my first post so I hope all goes well in the following statements.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I in the month of August after a fully blown manic episode. I was paranoid thinking that President Obama had sent a hit on me. I was so grandiose that I actually at one point believed I was Jesus. This was after I got admitted to a mental hospital and at no point did they give me drugs to calm me down. Not until they had to put me in an isolation room at least.

I was in the grip of depression recently but it's for the most part subsided.

I joined this site hoping to build a support network of like-diseased individuals who actually know what I'm going through.

Thank you for spending the time reading this.
Hugs from:

How many Bipolar People does it take to change a light-bulb?

It depends on what mood they are in.
