Yes they are classic signs of Borderline Personality Disorder. Perhaps post on the BPD board and they may be able to share some coping strategies for you. This is not a diagnosis - just informing you that theses are signs of Borderline.

This is not "normal" for Bipolar 2 but is common in Borderline personality disorder. Check out the criteria and see if it fits for you. Many people with BPD are wrongly diagnosed with Bipolar as the pdocs are either not informed that the swings are happening by the hour/day or they are just using the diagnosis to get covered by insurance (I am under the impression that BPD is not covered by insurance but BPII is, so they use that diagnosis to keep the patient covered.)
DBT could be very helpful for you and these symptoms. |
