Yes, definitely. When this happens, I get a blindfold, headphones and a blanket. I wrap myself in the blanket, play some music over the headphones, and put on the blindfold. It's dark, contained, and if I play ambient noise like rain or something like this:

Happens to me. Sometimes it's a sign that I need a med adjustment.
Other things that help: * Avoiding stimuli. Resting in dark, quiet places. Ambient noise irritates me too during these phases. I need to get away from my computer as much as I can, because artificial light bothers me. * Natural light might actually be helpful, unless you find that frustrating too. * Aromatherapy (using good essential oils) - lavender, rose, peppermint, lemon verbena can be soothing. Don't use too much, and don't overpower yourself. You are already sensitive to smells right now. * Meditation * Foot soaks * Yoga * Eating several small meals a day, since I don't feel like eating my usual large meals. Are you sensitive to tastes too? Perhaps consider a milder palate, but making sure that you're getting nutrients. * Avoiding alcohol, excessive refined sugar, and greasy foods Mostly though, during these phases, it's a matter of practising diligent self-care and waiting for things to pass. Good luck. |

Oh, and chamomile tea! I find that very soothing. When I'm irritated and overwhelmed, I prefer the version with mint and lemon myrtle. When I just want to relax, I like the plainer version with vanilla extract.

These are excellent.
Psyche I never put the taste together with it. Everything tastes sort of sour. That must be why Has anyone ever had issues with their spouse/partner with this? |

Welcome. I can relate. The less noise, light and stimuli the better for me. And food but I have an ED hx. Blue light therapy helps me. xoxox

I tried chamomile tea last night, and it was soothing, sort of because it made me feel all nice and warm, and cozy, safe, I am not too sure how to explain it
Rainy how long have you been using blue light? I've just started, and I am wondering how long it takes to kick in |
