I heard on the news today that being bullied changes your brain chemistry. Have any of you been bullied before developing BP? I was bullied for 4 years from ages 9-13. When I was 13 or 14 I developed BP.
What do you think?

I was bullied throughout my time in school. I don't know if that had anything to do with my developing bipolar but it's an interesting thought. I developed bipolar by the time I was 12 so who knows?

I think bullying certainly changes brain chemistry. I was bullied firstly by my parents, then at school, then at work, then by a NPD 'husband'. Oh, nearly forgot, by neighbors too.
I don't know if it causes bipolar, but it sure don't help. |
