Hello all!
I have those meds to take that are listed in my sig line. I am suppose to take Olanzapine twice a day. I have been taking the whole dose once a day. I am suppose to take the Buspirone three time a day. I have only been taking the first dose in the morning. Even though I am supposed to take the Lamitrogine once a day, I had been splitting it up between three times a day. Now I have been taking the full dose in the morning. I have had this new schedule of meds for several days now. Today I had waves of lethargy. This was manageable. But I have an overall depressed mood for the past couple of days. I have been lazy and avoiding work of any sort, not able to focus for too long, and easily bored. I have stopped showering everyday. I have not been able to structure my day and I find myself up past midnight. I am preoccupied with things that avoids anything productive, like being on the Internet all evening. Is this depression coincidence? Did my taking of meds have anything to do with it? Maybe this is temporary? Maybe I need a med change if this continues? Is this normal cycling? The reason I ask is I have not felt this way in awhile, where I feel just simply depressed. This low grade depression is uncommon for me. I had been in hypomania states, sometimes happy, and sometimes irratible.

Review over the phone what to take when. Time release we usually take all at one. Those that aren't time release, it's important to take as many times as the doctor dreams. It's all going into a cocktail, so getting the mix and timing right is fairly important. Schedules, schedules, schedules ...

I would think yr depression is due to yr not taking the meds as prescribed. I'm not putting you down at all. I'm sure you are taking them in that order for a reason. If I were you I'd take the meds In the order they were prescribed to you. I would there then if yr still depressed I would definitely go see yr pdoc. Being depressed on meds isn't fun. I am on a 4 meds and was still depressed. Then I went to my pdoc and added a 5th. Yea it does sound like alot but it's working for me. Alot better. Unfortunately the anxiety is still there but I think that can't be helped. I don't want to constantly take my xanex. Oh that's a6th but it's only used as needed. My anxiety is due to my childhood trauma and it's what I have leftover. So I wish you luck...is there a reason you have split up yr med schedule?

Yes, the change in meds can make you depressed. I tried changing my meds and found myself severely depressed. Go back to dosages you were taking.
