I am hypersexual and I don't want my husband...I have someone in mind who is unavailable and I am just wiggly in my seat with unrequited desire. Miserable but fun all the same. Oh joy.

What about the possibility of an "open marriage" or swinging? I don't mean to encourage you to sleep with someone other than your husband, but in some relationships that type of thing works. I have been hypersexual for weeks now, which my husband has been loving. However, he wasn't enough so I openly discussed those ideas with him as options for us to consider. I figure if we can find a way for me to safely satisfy my desires and we are both happy with the way I'm doing it, what's the harm?

It is something I could think about but my husband would never go for it. He's quite the prude.

Yeah, you definitely need both to be on the same page with that one.

Remember the fantasy is most of the time so much better than the reality!

Speaking from the BP1 male's perspective, mania can cause us to do things we wouldn't normally do. Mania isn't a finite state of mind. It's like temperature; it runs in degrees. So, there can be mild mania to full-blown manic psychosis. In the latter mild state, you have control over your behaviors, whereas in the extreme state, you do not. Now you seem lucid and therefore capable of avoiding "complications" in your life. I suggest that you be very, very careful in your choices

Incidentally, I'm hypersexual when I'm hypomanic, manic, and manic-psychotic. As I said previously, in the lower states of mania, I've avoided the regrettable, but in the latter state - I lost my first marriage because of my actions. I would have argued that it was my insanity that caused the "complications" in my marital relationship, but that matters little after the damage has been done.
