I've parallel park dozens of times and got out of the spot. Today I just hit the car behind me trying to get out.

I was going to get food, so I am a little hungry.

I'm on
lithium: 1200mg
seroquel 400mg at night
zoloft: 25mg
propranolol: 120mg

I'm depressed, now my anxiety is going in over drive.

I don't see how it's possible to definitively blame this on meds. You could be tired, you could have made a mistake, it really could have been anything. People hit things while parking all the time. My dad is a great driver and even he's done it.

It depends on how you were feeling I think. Like were you drowsy or spaced out? I tapped a car in front of me once and it was most definitely the lithium. I was toxic from it and totally zombified I shouldn't have been driving. But I was only 19 at the time so I didn't Dmit it to myself.

I've also had trouble driving when I manic. I can't focus on the cars because I have so much going on in my head. When I'm like that I don't drive if I hAve enough impulse control to think about it.

But you said you're depressed and I know you have been for a whole. Depression slows me down so much it's a real chore to drive.

So it can't be blamed on medicAtion alone, though lithium can go from fine to toxic in aatter of dAys because so many things Affect how it's processed in your body.

Otherwise it is a pretty common mistake. My husband has no MI issues And he hit a stopped car.

Sorry that happened to you. Things like that happen all the time. I've found that my mood affects my driving ability. I've just had my 3rd accident in a year, which I blame on inattention due to too much going on in my head. Do your meds usually affect your concentration?

I hit a car many many years ago when I fell asleep at the wheel while I was on my way to my pdoc appointment to tell him my meds were making me sleepy! I was about 1/2 mile from the doctors office. Luckily I was on a side street so we were going slow at the time. Meds can definitely do it. How did you feel at the time?

I drove the care into a wall making a nice mark on it and damaging the front fender a bit. This was due to two things, One was impulsive behavior. The most relevant was that I was drugged up on too much Klonopin.
